The CLASSIC HANDICAP (CHC)

We are using a unique handicapping system for our Classic League.

Because of the nature of Classics and with gimmees, no OB’s and nudging etc. and because many players do not have current  “Gold” handicaps, I have devised an EXCLUSIVE Classic Handicap System for our Classic League.

Your CHC will be available each Classic Day prior to play. Please use this number for the day.

The CHC is calculated by the following..

Your Average score from best 5 Classic Games this season – 72 x .9.

It is close to the Club HC in most cases, but is based on the actual game score of the players.

Eg.

Joe Prune shoots   88 83 86 89 90 86 82 84    His best 5 Average is 85  His CHC is (85-72) = 13x .8 =  10.4 Round to 10 

 These are calculated for you.. just use the number.

Any player with NO CHC ..USES 80% OF THE EXISTING CLUB HC until a CHC is established.

Handicaps will be Capped at 36  No Classic shall exceed 2 strokes per hole.

Recorded scores will be based on Equitable scoring system

CHC >17 doubles

CHC 18>32 triples

CHC 32> quads
